A guide from Relentless Generation

What happens in your first one-to-one football session?

A first session gives the player and coach time to get to know each other. Our £10 trial is a full 45-minute individual coaching session at Tudor Park Sports & Leisure in Feltham. You can try the approach before deciding whether to continue.

Book your £10 trial

Before you book

Think about what the player wants to get from the session. A beginner may want to feel comfortable with the ball; a club player may want to improve first touch or using their weaker foot. Share their age, experience and goals when booking. If they are very young, or you need goalkeeper-specific coaching, message us first to check the most suitable fit.

Read the coach profiles and choose an available time. T, Frankie and Rhys bring different playing and coaching backgrounds. Availability is shown in the booking system.

What to bring

  • Football boots or footwear appropriate for the session.
  • Shin pads and comfortable sports clothing.
  • A drink and clothing suitable for the weather.
  • Details of anything the coach should know to support the player.

Check the Tudor Park venue address and directions before setting off. Your booking confirmation includes the location. Ask us about arrival or access if you are unsure.

During the 45 minutes

The coach gets a sense of the player's starting point through conversation and practice. Exercises are adapted to age, ability and confidence. The session may focus on control, passing, dribbling, finishing or making decisions on the ball, depending on what the player needs.

One-to-one attention gives the coach time to explain a detail and the player time to try it again. It also gives you a chance to see whether the player feels comfortable with the approach. For questions about watching a young child's session, talk to us before booking.

If the player already trains with a team

Individual coaching can complement team training by giving a particular skill dedicated time. Tell the coach what the player has been working on at their club or where they feel less confident in matches. Coaching can support preparation for club or academy trials, but selection is decided by the club.

After the trial

Use the session to discuss a useful next focus with the coach. If you want to continue, individual sessions are £40 or weekly coaching is available on the £140 monthly subscription. That averages approximately £32.30 per weekly session across a full year; some months have four sessions and some have five. Your £10 trial is credited towards the first subscription payment if you continue.

There is no obligation to continue after the trial. For regular coaching, speak to us about a reserved slot and check our booking and cancellation terms.
