Use a lesson to revisit the building blocks that make later questions easier. Discuss the topic and the student's current level, then practise with explanations that help them understand why a method works.
Work on the topics that are causing difficulty and practise applying them to questions. Share whether you are studying Foundation or Higher, alongside your exam board, so lesson discussions can match the course.
Bring the topic, method or exam question you want to understand. Work through the reasoning with Rohan and discuss where an approach gets stuck, then practise making and explaining the next decision.
A missed answer can come from an earlier topic, an unfamiliar question or a small mistake in a calculation. Individual teaching gives time to work out which one it is. Rather than simply watching a solution, the student can explain their thinking, ask for another example and practise the part that needs attention.
Before booking, share the student's year group, course or exam board, and the topics they find difficult. Bring a recent question, marked piece of work or school topic to give the tutor a useful starting point.
Individual lessons are £40. Weekly lessons are available on the £140 monthly plan, approximately £32.30 per session across a full year. The £10 trial is credited towards your first subscription payment if you continue.
