Work on reading carefully, organising ideas and communicating clearly. Bring a question or piece of writing to discuss what the task is asking, how to plan an answer and which details will support your point.
Explore texts, themes and characters in a conversation with your tutor. Practise moving from noticing a useful quotation to explaining its effect, and from a collection of ideas to a structured written response.
For GCSE, IGCSE, A Level or language exams such as IELTS and TOEFL, tell us the qualification you are preparing for. Focus your lesson on the relevant skills and tasks, with time to discuss feedback and try again.
If a student knows a text but struggles to put ideas on paper, a lesson can focus on planning and paragraph structure. If writing feels comfortable but analysis is difficult, the focus can shift to interpreting evidence. One-to-one teaching gives room to identify the difficulty and work on it at the student's pace.
Before booking, share the student's year group, course or exam board, and the topics they find difficult. Bring a recent question, marked piece of work or school topic to give the tutor a useful starting point.
Individual lessons are £40. Weekly lessons are available on the £140 monthly plan, approximately £32.30 per session across a full year. The £10 trial is credited towards your first subscription payment if you continue.
