Bring the process, system or topic that is difficult to explain. Work on connecting the stages, using scientific vocabulary accurately and deciding which details are relevant when answering a question.
Use a lesson to make sense of a concept or calculation and connect it to your course questions. Discuss your working, identify the point of confusion and practise explaining how you reached an answer.
Work through the ideas behind a problem as well as the calculation. Practise choosing an approach, interpreting information and explaining your reasoning, using questions suited to your course and level.
If rereading notes is not helping with exam questions, bring an example to the lesson. You and Rohan can work out whether the difficulty is recalling knowledge, interpreting the question, using a calculation or explaining an answer. That gives your revision a more useful focus than simply repeating the whole topic.
Before booking, share the student's year group, course or exam board, and the topics they find difficult. Bring a recent question, marked piece of work or school topic to give the tutor a useful starting point.
Individual lessons are £40. Weekly lessons are available on the £140 monthly plan, approximately £32.30 per session across a full year. The £10 trial is credited towards your first subscription payment if you continue.
